From there, you use the dashboard to customise everything - edit text, upload photos, add services, change colours, and more. It's designed so anyone can do it, no tech skills needed. If you'd rather not do it yourself, we offer a done-for-you setup service inside the dashboard for a small additional fee - one of our team handles everything, you just send us your details.

What if I'm not very tech-savvy?

TradieFlow is built for tradespeople, not developers. The dashboard is simple and visual - you click, type, and drag. There's a built-in help centre with step-by-step guides for every feature. And if it still feels like too much, there's a done-for-you setup option inside the dashboard where one of our team does it all for you - you just provide your business details, photos, and preferences.

Can I see a demo before I sign up?

Yes - our theme previews on the site show you exactly what your website will look like. Once you sign up, you can explore the full dashboard and customiser before going live. There's no risk.

What if I don't have time to set it up myself?

Accepted Answer

No problem. Inside the dashboard there's a done-for-you setup service for a small additional fee. One of our team members will set up your entire site for you - theme, content, photos, SEO, the lot. All we need is some basic information about your business and any preferences you have. You'll still have full access to the dashboard afterwards to make changes whenever you want.

Can I update the site myself?

Absolutely. Your dashboard lets you edit pages, swap photos, add services, manage enquiries, update your navigation, and customise your theme - no technical knowledge needed. There's also a built-in help centre with guides for everything.

What can I customise?

Accepted Answer

Almost everything. You can change your logo, brand colour, font, button style, page content, section layouts, header and footer text, navigation menus, gallery photos, business details, and SEO settings. The Customiser gives you a live drag-and-drop editor with desktop, tablet, and mobile preview.

Can I add new pages?

Yes. Your site comes with core pages (Home, About, Services, Gallery, Contact) that can't be deleted, but you can create as many additional pages as you need - like a Privacy Policy, specific service pages, or a blog. Each page gets its own URL.

Can I change my theme later?

Yes, you can switch themes at any time from the Theme page. Each theme has a completely unique design - they're not just colour swaps. Important: switching themes replaces your page content with the new theme's starter content, so make sure you're happy to start fresh.

How do customer enquiries work?

When someone fills in the contact form on your website, you get an email notification and the enquiry appears in your Enquiries dashboard. You can see who contacted you, read their message, mark it as read, and reply directly via email.

Yes, every TradieFlow site is fully responsive. It looks great on phones, tablets, and desktops. You can even preview how your site looks on each device in the Customiser.

Every plan includes a custom-designed, mobile-friendly website tailored to your trade, built-in SEO, contact form, photo gallery, Google Maps integration, and your own dashboard to manage it all. Starter is £99/month with no upfront cost. Growth (£499 one-time + £79/month) and Pro (£999 one-time + £49/month) also include priority support. All plans include the same core features.

Can I upgrade my plan later?

Yes, you can upgrade at any time from the Billing page in your dashboard. You just pay the activation fee for the plan you're upgrading to and your monthly rate drops straight away. For example, upgrading from Starter to Growth costs £499 and your monthly goes from £99 to £79.

Hosting, SSL certificate, ongoing support, software updates, and security monitoring. Starter is £99/month, Growth is £79/month, and Pro is £49/month. If anything breaks or you need help, I'm just an email away. There are no hidden fees.

Are there any hidden costs?

No. Your plan fee is the total cost. Starter is £99/month with no upfront cost. Growth is £499 one-time plus £79/month. Pro is £999 one-time plus £49/month. There are no extra charges for hosting, SSL, support, or updates. The only additional cost would be if you buy a custom domain from a registrar (typically £10–£15/year), which is separate from TradieFlow.

Do I own the website?

Accepted Answer

You own all your content - text, images, and data. The website runs on our platform for as long as your subscription is active. If you cancel, we can export your content for you.

Question 18

What if I want to cancel?

Accepted Answer

You can cancel anytime with no penalties. We don't lock you into long-term contracts. Your site stays live until the end of your billing period. Go to Billing in your dashboard and click Manage Billing.

Question 19

How do I manage my billing?

Accepted Answer

Go to Billing in your dashboard sidebar. You can view your plan status, see what's included, and click Manage Billing to open the Stripe portal where you can update your payment method, view invoices, or cancel.

Question 20

Can I use my own domain name?

Accepted Answer

Yes. In Settings, there's a Custom Domain card where you enter your domain and we'll show you the DNS records to add at your registrar. Once configured, click Verify and your site goes live on your domain with a free SSL certificate.

Question 21

Will connecting my domain affect my email?

Accepted Answer

No. We only ask you to add a single CNAME record at your domain registrar - your existing email records (MX, SPF, DKIM) stay untouched, so your email keeps working as normal.

Question 22

I don't have a domain yet - can I still use TradieFlow?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your site gets a free TradieFlow URL straight away (like your-business.tradieflow.uk). You can add a custom domain whenever you're ready.

Question 23

How long does DNS take to propagate?

Accepted Answer

Usually between 15 minutes and 4 hours, though it can take up to 48 hours in rare cases. You can check progress at dnschecker.org. If it's been over 48 hours, double-check your DNS records match what TradieFlow shows you.

Question 24

I'm getting a 'record conflicts with another record' error when adding my DNS record

Accepted Answer

This is very common and nothing to worry about. Most domain registrars (like 123 Reg, GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc.) automatically create default DNS records when you first buy your domain. To fix this, simply edit the existing record in your registrar's DNS settings and change its value to match what TradieFlow shows you. You're just updating old placeholders with the correct values  it's completely safe and won't affect your email.

Will my site show up on Google?

Yes. We tell Google you exist - automatically. Most websites don't bother. Every TradieFlow site includes built-in SEO: proper meta tags, mobile-friendly design, fast loading, and an auto-generated sitemap. To speed things up, we recommend setting up Google Search Console - there's a card in Settings that walks you through it.

What is Google Search Console and do I need it?

Google Search Console is a free tool from Google that tells them your site exists, lets you submit your sitemap, and shows you what searches people use to find you. Without it, Google might take months to discover your site. With it, you can be indexed in days. We've built a setup guide right into your Settings page.

How do I improve my Google rankings?

Accepted Answer

Start by filling in your meta title and description in Settings (SEO card). Set up Google Search Console and submit your sitemap. Keep your content up to date, use specific service names (e.g. 'Emergency Plumbing Repairs' not just 'Plumbing'), and make sure your business info and address are accurate. TradieFlow handles the technical SEO for you.
